The mid-sized Acura TL sedan receives a full model change for the 2009 model year. As you can see from the photos, the approach that Acura has taken with the fourth generation TL is far from conservative. It looks very decidedly Japanese and I’d expect such a production design to come out of Mazda’s design studios.
he09 Acura TL will come in either front wheel drive or all-wheel drive configurations. The AWD system is Acura’s Super Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD) system which can split torque in an optimum ratio between the front and rear axles and also the rear left and rear right wheels.e suspension rides on double wishbones at the front and multilink at the rear. Engine options will consist of the J-Series 3.5 liter SOHC V6 producing 280hp and 345Nm of torque, and a more powerful 3.7 liter V6 producing 305hp and 373Nm of torque

onda has released initial details on the new 2010 Acura ZDX, which is what Honda calls a four-door sports coupe. Honda will be positioning it between the MDX SUV and the RL sedan. The ZDX will be powered by Honda’s 3.7 liter SOHC i-VTEC V6 engine, producing 300 horsepower and 366Nm of torque, mated to a new 6-speed automatic transmission which will hopefully later trickle down the product range into the Accord. The ZDX also features SH-AWD or Super Handling All-Wheel Drive. Only 3 photos of the production car have been released so far, which you will find after the jump along with some videos and a full photo gallery of the concept version of the ZDX which Honda revealed at the New York

The latest recall counts over 540,000 cars from Nissan, which have been recalled due to faulty brake pedal pins and fuel gauge issues.

The NV1500, 2500 HD, and 3500 HD come in regular or extended roof heights, and there are two engine versions available: 4.0-liter V6 or an optional 5.6-liter V8. Nissan has yet to unveil pricing for the vans.

Nissan has recalled the 2010 models of the Pathfinder and Xterra over a possible airbag issue which might cause the airbags not to deploy properly. The recall affects 4,038 vehicles.

F1 in full jet fighter camouflage regalia, has struck again with stunning pictures from Lamborghini’s launch of the Gallardo LP550-2 Valentino Balboni in Zürich, Switzerland. According to Kaiser, this was the third stop of the car’s initial European tour following appearances in Paris and Lyon in France. Next, the Italian crew will pack up and take their show on to various locations in the United Kingdom. In case you your memory needs refreshed, the new Lambo was named in honor of the automaker’s longtime test driver. Featuring a 550-horsepower version of the Gallardo’s familiar V10 engine and a comparatively low 3,042-pound curb weight, the rear-drive LP550-2 is reportedly capable of scurrying to 60 in just 3.9 seconds and up to a top speed of 199 mph. Check out the photo gallery below and pay special attention to the unique black-and-white racing stripe, Scorpious wheels

t was supposed to be unveiled at the Geneva Auto Show, but after several leaks, Porsche went and revealed the whole thing in advance. First of all, the 2011 version is 1.9 inches longer than the previous model, but that’s not the interesting part; the Cayenne S Hybrid is Porsche’s first production hybrid, with a 3.0 liter supercharged V6 with 47-horsepower electric motor, bringing the total to a cool 380 horses. Gas mileage was not revealed, but it’s certainly better than the non-hybrid models.

uick has revealed that the base version of the 2011 LaCrosse won’t be featuring the standard 3.0 liter V6 that they used for the last few years. Instead, it’ll be replaced by a much more efficient 2.4-liter direct-injected inline-four, which offers a lot better fuel economy at a slightly less power than the previous edition. The V6 will still be available for higher end models.

This post here is only about two things: Car pr0n and wheels. Vancouver’s SR Auto Group has Lamborghini Reventón number three out of 20, and they’ve been charged with making it even more special. The first thing they did was work with wheelmaker ADV.1 to develop the ADV05, a gunmetal five-spoker with a matte black lip. It worked. After that, they sent us high-res photos. The rest we leave up to up you

ell look at that marvel. It’s the Dodge Circuit EV. Or is it the Lotus Europa? Well you can always go to Detroit and ask those Chrysler representatives what car they have displayed here. We’re going to call it the Circuit EV and we’ll emphasize the EV part. This Dodge is an electric sports car so lets give Tesla a call and see what they think about this little baby right here. It does 0-60 in under 5 seconds which means the Roadster from Tesla will beat the Circuit from Dodge. The range is estimated from 150-200 miles which is also a little lower than the Tesla’s.
obody has tested the Circuit besides Chrysler or Lots so nobody can really tell us exactly what this baby can do other than sitting pretty. Will we see the Circuit EV go on sale from Chrysler or will Chrysler die by the time that happen
